These Ubuntu Dingo makes use of Gnome three.0 as its flagship computing device environment, which became the proper choice to escape from the old Unity. Still, the Gnome has its peculiarities, as is not unusual with gnomes and the question is whether you would love extra the Lubuntu or Xubuntu version of Ubuntu or not. Anyway, right here we provide the Gnome model of Ubuntu, which is still the only most human beings want.
If you like more the straight and simple Lubuntu view of things we recommend our Lubuntu 18.04 LTS, because after that version Lubuntu switched the LXDE to LXQt and there are still some minor quirks to be resolved. Alternatively the Xubuntu 18.04 LTS is also worth a try.
In the mean time have fun with the new virtualized Disco Dingo 19.04.
Applications: Firefox, Synaptic, compiler chain, and some more tools.
